Welcome Mrs. Janzen's 3rd Graders!

We made this Earth Day Collage entirely out of magazine scraps. Students then wrote "If I Were in Charge of the World" essays.

We made May Baskets on May 1st to share with the residents at Merry Haven Rest Home.

The baskets turned out so beautiful and the kids were very excited to know that they would brighten the day of the residents at the nursing home.

The May Day baskets was a project that all the third grade classes at our school took part in. It was a wonderful way for kids to show love and caring to older folks in our community.

Snohomish Fire Department Visit

Looking through heat sensor

Taking a look at a fire fighter’s safety gear.

We also learned about fire safety at home during the fire fighter’s classroom visit.

In science we are learning about our bones, muscles and joints. Dr. Janzen came to visit on Sept 18 to help us learn more!

He showed us X-rays

We learned that the femur is the longest bone in our bodies.

He even put a cast on Mrs. Janzen's arm!

Time to saw it off!  The scary looking saw didn’t hurt one bit!
