This year’s program runs July 5 through July 28 at Snohomish High School (1315 Fifth Street in Snohomish). Classes are held Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Note: During the July 4-8 session classes will be held Tuesday through Friday due to holiday.) Click here for more information.

  • EGG-stremely EGG-citing Egg Drop Contest

Dutch Hill Elementary students demonstrated an understanding of the engineering challenges that rocket scientists face by designing and building "landing crafts" so that their "test pilots" (uncooked eggs) would survive the descent from the top of the fire department ladder truck. Their "mission" was to land their uncooked egg on Mars - unbroken. More than 100 students created clever egg contraptions and watched them plummet 75 feet from the top of a fire truck ladder earlier today. Some survived... others did not. Students protected their eggs with a variety of items including a gallon of jello, noodles, popcorn, pillows, sawdust, bubble wrap and more. Check out photos from the event by clicking here.

  • Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration for the 2016-2017 school year is happening now. We are excited to share that in 2016 – 2017, all kindergarten classes in the Snohomish School District will follow a full-day format. The state of Washington is providing the funding for the full-day kindergarten program. This means there will not be any tuition costs for families. The program is entirely state-funded for ALL kindergarten students. Please click here for more information about our kindergarten program.
